David Fairhurst

David came to Laos over 15 years ago as a VSO. He has stayed on as an ELT Trainer and enjoys his job teaching academic English at Vientiane College. Now married into a Lao family, and fluent in the language, David is a keen hiker, and has walked from Vang Vieng to Vientiane for charity. He also enjoys cycling, particularly in southern Laos.

 
Devjeet Kr Bhuyan

Devjeet has two hobbies; consulting on high-end teas and taking photographs. He travels extensively, often confusing one for the other. He has a number of cameras but his preferred one is a Sony A6000 with a wide angle 10mm-18mm lens.

Johanna is a brand strategist, creative director, sustainability advocate and travel writer based in Cebu City, Philippines. She swims in jellyfish-infested oceans, treks through mountains, rides rickety buses, bikes through steep slopes and walks in busy cities. She is almost always never home.

Viengdalat Somphet

Viengdalat aka "Bee" is a sports enthusiast. She travels in Laos and abroad competing in marathons the world over. This also gives her the chance to experience local cultures and explore nature, "The best part" she says, "is making new friends and sharing new experiences." Eliza Mott

Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Eliza received a B.A. in the History of Art and Creative Writing from Princeton University, writing her thesis on the role of the camera in Marcel Duchamp’s work. While at Princeton, she was also the editor-in-chief of the Nassau Weekly. She now lives in Luang Prabang, Laos.

Gabriel Kuperman

Gabriel received a master’s degree in Media Studies from the New School in New York City. After working in television and film production, he moved to Laos in 2008. One year later, he founded the Luang Prabang Film Festival with a desire to bridge the Southeast Asian film communities while fostering the Lao film industry’s growth.
